《视点的时光》呈现李本滢与姚冬颖对消逝叙事的探索，将时间纹理化为艺术。通过与街坊店主对话，展览成为“保存”与“无常”的交流，让片刻获得永恒形状。“Perspective of Time” presents Li Benying and Yao Dongying’s exploration of vanishing narratives, transforming the texture of time into art. Through dialogues with local shop owners, the exhibition becomes an exchange between “preservation” and “impermanence”, endowing fleeting moments with eternal forms.
HART HAUS作为时次展览的场地及协作伙伴，《视点的时光》呈现两位当代艺术家，李本滢及姚冬颖，对这些消逝叙事的探索，将时间的纹理化为艺术。在港岛西，香港新旧节奏交织之处，传统店铺以沉默的抵抗姿态延续——它们是记忆、劳动与社区的守护者。透过与街坊店主的对话，展览成为一场「保存」与「无常」的交流，让片刻获得永恒的形状。
李本滢的创作灵感源自记忆的悖论——为何遥远的过去总比当下更鲜明？李氏运用废弃纸板等物料创作——这种材质既象征韧性，亦承载无常。他的作品映照这些空间在急速湮灭的城市中，如何脆弱地存续。
姚冬颖带领观众走进记忆鲜活的街道，每间小店或茶铺都藏着社区与身份的故事。她的当代水墨与混合媒介作品不将这些空间视为遗迹，而是跃动的生命体。
展览邀请观众驻足于过去与未来的交界，细听曾经回响的余音—并想像即将诞生的可能。在这里，终结并非句号，而是生成的开端。

在港岛西，香港新旧节奏交织之处，传统店铺以沉默的抵抗姿态延续——它们是记忆、劳动与社区的守护者。《视点的时光》呈现两位当代艺术家对这些消逝叙事的探索，将时间的纹理化为艺术。透过与街坊店主的对话，展览成为一场「保存」与「无常」的交流，让片刻获得永恒的形状。
当城市景观不断更迭，街区的灵魂栖息何处？这场双人展透过坚尼地城逐渐消失的历史店铺，探讨记忆与现代性之间的脆弱互动。两位不同世代的艺术家穿梭于街区的层叠历史中，将研究与个人际遇交织成对「韧性」、「逝去」与「变迁之微妙」的沉思。
李本滢的创作灵感源自记忆的悖论——为何遥远的过去总比当下更鲜明？他的父母晚年能清晰忆起年轻时细节，却常遗忘近日之事。这种「倒置的视角」贯穿其作品：久远的记忆庞然逼近，当下反而退缩。他以家族曾营商的香港西区老店为焦点，运用废弃纸板等物料创作——这种材质既象征韧性，亦承载无常。他的作品映照这些空间在急速湮灭的城市中，如何脆弱地存续。
姚冬颖带领观众走进记忆鲜活的街道，每间小店或茶铺都藏着社区与身份的故事。她的当代水墨与混合媒介作品不将这些空间视为遗迹，而是跃动的生命体。店铺门面在她笔下化作近乎神话的存在，歌颂香港城市肌理中无名的英雄，邀请观者重新发现周遭平凡的奇迹，并思索：在无情变迁中，什么值得留存？
尽管手法迥异，两位艺术家却构筑出和谐的对话。他们摒弃怀旧，转而凝视劳动、转化与时间必然的流逝。展览邀请观众驻足于过去与未来的交界，细听曾经回响的余音—并想像即将诞生的可能。在这里，终结并非句号，而是生成的开端。
“Time in Perspective” — Curator Shirky Chan
In Western District of Hong Kong Island, where the rhythms of old and new Hong Kong intersect, traditional shops endure as quiet acts of resistance—guardians of memory, labor, and community. “Time in Perspective” presents two contemporary artists who delve into these vanishing narratives, transforming the textures of time into art. Through the engagements with local shopkeepers, the exhibition becomes a conversation between preservation and impermanence, where fleeting moments are given lasting form.
As urban landscapes relentlessly shift, where does a neighborhood’s soul linger? This duo exhibition explores the fragile interplay of memory and modernity through the lens of Kennedy Town’s historical and disappearing shopfronts. Two artists, spanning generations, navigate the district’s layered history, weaving research and personal encounters into a meditation on resilience, loss, and the subtle beauty of change.
Boon Lee draws inspiration from the paradox of memory—how the distant past often feels more vivid than the present. His parents, in their later years, could recall young age details with clarity yet struggled to remember recent events. This “reverse perspective” informs his work: distant memories loom large, while the present recedes. Focusing on old shops in Hong Kong’s Western District—where his family once ran a business—he creates artworks from varied materials, including discarded cardboard, a medium embodying both resilience and transience. His pieces reflect the fragile survival of these spaces in a city racing toward erasure.
Wenda Yiu guides viewers through streets alive with memory, where every small shop or tea shop holds stories of community and identity. Her contemporary ink and mixed-media works capture these spaces not as relics but as dynamic entities, pulsating with life. Reimagining storefronts as near-mythical presences, she celebrates the unsung heroes of Hong Kong’s urban fabric—inviting viewers to rediscover the ordinary marvels around them and contemplate what deserves preservation amid relentless change.
Though their approaches differ, the two artists forge a harmonious dialogue. Rejecting nostalgia, they instead offer a meditation on labor, transformation, and the inevitability of time’s passage. The exhibition invites audiences to pause at the threshold between past and future, listening closely to the echoes of what has been—and imagining what might yet emerge. Here, endings are not conclusions but possibilities for reinvention.

关于艺术家
姚冬颖毕业于皇家墨尔本理工大学（与香港艺术学院合办）艺术文学士学位，主修绘画。她的作品被私人收藏。作品曾在巴塞尔艺术展、亚洲水墨艺术博览会等艺术展上展出，并在香港举办过多个展览。
Wenda Yiu graduated from BA in Fine Art at RMIT University( co-presented with Hong Kong Art School), major in painting. Her artworks were collected by private collectors. Wenda shown up her works on Art Basel, Fine Art Ink Asia and held a number of exhibitions in Hong Kong.
李本滢，亚本，在天文台工作30年，退休前任职台长。退休后入读香港艺术学院合办的皇家墨尔本理工大学艺术学位课程。毕业后跟几位学院同学创办位于半山的Yrellag Gallery，本年创建及支持位于赛马会创意艺术中心的本陶艺社，扶掖年青新晋。除主力绘画外，亚本致力用环保物料创作，包括纸皮和日常物件。其艺术理念是融合科学及艺术，奉行简约，务求达到「美」与「术」—在追求美的路途上，于期间所需的技术转化过程中寻找满足。
Lee Boon Ying (Boon) worked for 30 years at the Hong Kong Observatory, and was the Director before retirement. He then joined a fine arts program jointly run by the HK Art School and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He founded the Yrellag Gallery at mid-levels together with arts classmates upon graduation, and commissioned the Indige Studio at JCCAC in Shek Kip Mei, offering opportunities to young and emerging artists. Apart from painting, Boon uses recyclable materials including cardboard and readymades in his endeavours. He strives to combine art and science in a minimalist style, and seeks perfection through the transformation process.
